Programs & Services

 Prescription Subsidy Program – is given to clients of the SAEA who are unable to pay for the cost of their prescriptions.  The client must apply to SAEA for the subsidy and qualify under the criteria of the Prescription Subsidy Program 

Transportation Subsidy Program is given to clients of the SAEA who are unable to drive due their epilepsy and are low-income earners.  The clients are given transportation only to SAEA events such as Coffee & Conversation, as volunteers for fundraisers, etc.

 Resource Library consists of books, fact sheets, videos and newsletters from various epilepsy associations around the world.  These resources are available to clients of the SAEA and the general public.

Access to Programs and Services

WHAT:

Anyone whose life has been affected by Epilepsy in any way can access our programs and services at no charge.  We offer information, support, and referrals.  We also have an information library, pamphlets, and videos about Epilepsy.  Please call us!

-Any seizure disorder, diagnosed or not

-Any gap in knowledge

-Miscommunication with medical professionals

-Cycle of dependency–the SAEA can help persons with epilepsy to be self sufficient

-Individuals with epilepsy and their families

-Relatives and friends

-Employers and co-workers

-Teachers and care givers

-Medical professionals

-Any person with epilepsy related concerns
