With Appreciation for Your

Many 'Randem Acts of Kindness'

Gladys is a truly beautiful soul I've been privileged to know for several years now. She is one of a trio of wonderful ladies that we affectionately call the 'Golden Girls', mostly because of their warm and loving natures and the strong bond of friendship they enjoy. With her wonderful gift of humor, Gladys can drag a smile or giggle out of the most grim and grumpy, and her hugs or words of encouragement have helped many.

She's always ready to lend a helping hand or a soft shoulder to anyone who needs it and is the kind of Very Special Person who touches people's lives in such a way that they are forever changed for the better. Gladys is a shining example of a caring child of God showing her love for Him, and HIS love for us, in every act of kindness, word or deed.

This 'Web Page' is for you Gladys, not only because I love and admire you so much, but also to let you know that you Have made a difference in my life and in the lives of many others. You've helped my love for the Lord to grow stronger and deeper in many ways and have increased my desire to help others by your own loving example. You've given many of us the courage and strength to live another day following God's Will for us, that we may not have been able to do, without your help and encouragement. So God Bless You, my friend .......... and Thank you.

"The Starfish"

Once upon a time there was a wise man who used to go to the ocean to do his writing, as he had a habit of walking on the beach before he began his work. One day as he was walking along the shore, he looked down the beach and saw what appeared to be a human figure 'dancing' up ahead.

As he got closer, he saw that it was a young man reaching down to the shore, picking something up and very gently throwing it into the ocean. As he got closer he called out, "Good morning! What are you doing?" The young man paused, looked up and replied, "Throwing starfish in the ocean. The sun is up, the tide is going out and if I don't throw them back in they'll die."

"But, young man, don't you realize that there are miles and miles of beach, and starfish all along it. You can't possibly make a difference!" The young man listened politely. Then he bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea, past the breaking waves and said with a smile, "It made a difference for that one."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is something very special in each and every one of us. We have all been gifted with the ability to make a difference. And if we can become aware of that gift, we gain through the strength of our visions the power to shape the future. We must each find our own starfish. And if we throw our stars wisely and well, the world will be blessed.
