RED HATS ON PARADE!
The Klassy Crimson Hatters Chapter from Cardston with Queen
Julia, invited us to “ride their float” in the Cardston
Parade for Heritage Day’s. So 41 of us Red Hatters
from Taber, They did such a fabulous decorating feat of a large trailer with straw bales for us to sit upon. But the best was the awesome HUGE Red Hat situated high on the front! That Hat has been in many a parade and remains just as beautiful..
The trailer draped with purple and adorned with red & purple
poms was quite an eye catcher for us Red Hatters perched
upon those bales! The crowds lined up on the streets
cheered as we went by throwing candy from beginning to end
of the parade. Phew… we ran out of candy just as parade
ended!! We received many a comment of how lovely we looked and that Red and Purple is such a catching mix of colors one couldn’t NOT see us!!
She had us all singing, and a few Red Hat Ladies play acting a skit, answering questions about the RHS and they did a fine accounting of how grand a dis- organization this is! The line dancing performance by those fun loving Klassy Crimson Red Hatters was delightful and fun with much laughter!
